I have not been for a run since last week!

I felt good on this run until I completed 3 miles and then I dragged myself through the last 1.3.  I think it was because I was increasing my speed every five minutes for the first 25 minutes and then the last 15 minutes was a cool down.

I know I have lost a lot of running fitness since New Year's, but at least I've still been working out!  I just need to get back on track--if I play my cards right, I'll get in another run today, but I HATE THE TREADMILL!

Oops.  This is really Wed.'s entry.  I'll put today's workout on Wed.

I hate the treadmill too. Is your weather getting any better? Any chance you'll be able to run more outside in the near future? Just thinking about whether you should drop the gym membership. Maybe you should keep it for one more month so that you have it as a backup. It's not spring yet.

Weather was looking good (in the 40s) last week, but this week it's in the teens again. I wouldn't mind running in it if it weren't for the wind and the dark.

I'm envious of you morning runners! I already wake up at 5:30 to get ready for work. If I started running at 4, I'd have to go to bed earlier than my children! Plus it would still be dark!

I'm thinking of extending my membership a month, just until the time change and it is lighter later in the day.
