This morning was one of those mornings I tried to make every excuse I could to not run. After debating with myself for about 10 minutes I decided I would head out and not have any agenda. I would just run until my legs told me to stop. My ultimate goal was 14-15 miles but I was not going to be disappointed if I didn't make it. I started off and my legs felt tired like they have all week. When I got to the trails I thought that 10 would be about my max for the day. I was thrilled as my legs started feeling better as my run progressed. I ended up running 15.5 miles, much of it on the trails, and my legs felt great after. I could have easily done 20 this morning. It was encouraging because last week my 13 mile run was pretty tough. Now I get the next 2 days to rest my legs. This is the most I have run in a week for a long time. I did a hike a couple weeks ago, but this week was all running. It was a really good morning and the weather was perfect!
