It was a rainy morning in Havasu.  We don't get a lot of those so you try to enjoy it while you can.  Rhett and I started off on a 20 mile run in the rain and about 1/2 mile into the run, SPASH!  I schoolbust shot a wave of water and soaked us from head to toe.  It made us cold for 10 minutes or so, but our run warmed us up again.  We did the first 15 at a very comfortable pace and the last 5 we shot for our marathon pace.  I was able to run the first 3 miles at or a little below my marathon pace, but the last 2 were rough because of the incline and I fell below my marathon pace.  I felt good about the run and it was encouraging that on a flat course I could have run the last 5 much faster.  By the end of the run I was soaked and my legs were pretty dirty.
