Got in 6 miles in the early morning on a very windy morning. Didn't enjoy the middle miles into the wind but the last 2 miles with the tailwind were kinda fun. Did 8 or 9 strides along the way.
Another morning 6-miler, 3.5 with Kimi. I was expecting the weather to be nasty but it was actually pretty nice, a bit cooler temps than yesterday but without the major wind.
Had a blast pacing this race today with Bill Miller. The weather was near perfect and the scenery spectacular as always. Only problem was that I was totally brain dead and forgot my watch. Pacers cannot forget their watch!!! Luckily Andy Browning had a spare stop-watch (no GPS) and my partner had a GPS watch so all was well. It's been a while since I've done the pacing gig it was nice to be reminded how enjoyable it is. Looking forward to doing a lot more pacing in 2014 starting with the St George 1/2 in January.
