Wow can't believe August is already over. Fall is certainly in the air with these nice cool 50-60 degree morning temps the last couple days.  I really love this time of year. Lots of  fun stuff planned for September/October I'm really looking forward to. And just love the fall weather.

Had a nice 6-mile run with Kim then did 1 more on my own. Legs still feeling a little bit of the Saturday downhill run but much better than yesterday.  Did 5 strides along the way. I had the upper hand on the first 4 but Kim kicked my fanny on the last one. She has an acceleration gear that I don't have. A 100-yard dash race or shorter between the 2 of us could be interesting, anything longer than that I think I can take her. Mr slow-twitch vs. Ms fast-twitch.

Looks like I'll sneak just over 200 miles for August, first 200+ mileage month for me since March. Happy September everyone.

Thanks Clay. I think if we can survive the next couple of weeks we'll be in a pretty good spot.

Hope the recovery is going well for you, anything new?

About the same... It's really frustrating but I'm hanging in there;) this has been one of the toughest injuries I have ever had, usually after a month things are improving but it's not. I'm trying to get into physical therapy and see if they can help me, so we'll see:)

I know there are some injuries that can take 2 or even 3 months so hopefully you'll be seeing improvement soon. I've had very good success with PT. I go to Von Hill at Spanish Fork Peak Therapy. Only problem with PT is if your insurance doesn't cover things well because it sure ain't cheap if you have to pay your own way!

Tis true, those Stilson genes have some fast-twicht muscles.

I'm just dreaming of 200+ months for now.

Terry I hope the doc can get you figured out tomorrow. I notice today after the striders I have a pain in that same area on the inside of my right leg/knee. If it bothers me on the run tomorrow I may be picking your brain.
