Easy run out in a light snow on a cool morning. But no wind so that made it kind of peaceful. Roads were a bit sketchy so I had to put on the snow tires for about half the run. Kim is still sick but seems to be improving, hopefully she'll be back to normal in another day or 2.

Well I ended up just over 2300 miles for the year. Not too bad just around 70 miles shy of last year.  But best thing is making it 2 whole years with no major injuries. Hopefully I'll be smart enough to keep that up through 2013 and beyond.

I could have used some snow tires a few days ago in Ephraim. What kind did you get and is it worth it for a few days of bad winter running a year?

You only beat me my 570 miles this year.

Terry we got some cheapo brand from Costco that I think were only like 15 or 20 bucks for 2 pair. But they are already starting to fall apart so looks like they're only good for 40 or 50 miles. But for that cheap price I think they were still well worth it as it's sure nice to not be slipping and sliding the whole time when the roads are bad. For the name brand Yak-Trax you would pay around $25 per pair for the regular model or $50 per pair for the "XTreme" model that's more heavy duty with big spikes and stuff.

I think as long you get anything over 1000 miles a year you should be good to go to beat me handily at any race even if I get 2000-3000.
