Daylight savings totally messed me up last night. I was awake all night and didn't make it to the gym this morning. So I headed to my basement gym while my big girls were at Activity Days. One of the *few* perks of working out at night is I have so much more energy. I can workout longer and harder.

I really wanted to wait two days to run again since my long run on Saturday. But since I waited until this evening, I figured I was close enough.

4 very strong miles

20 plank with shoulder taps on ball

20 hamstring curls with ball

6 one arm push-ups on Bosu

Abs

Walking lunges

20x dips

Long stretch and foam rolling

Ankle felt strong on the run.

I just read your Saturday's long run on the TM!!! Wowzer! That was some serious mental torture workout!!! I am so glad that there is no mention of ankle pain! Your muscles, bones and connective tissues are adjusting to the mileage buildup! Good news and signs that all your dedication and patience is paying off! :)

Thanks for checking in Smooth!! In regards to Saturday, Karen said she was going to do a short-long run. I should have come with you/her and added extra miles. Running with friends ALWAYS beats the TM!!!

It was mental torture. But it is over and it is warm outside. Outside runs - Yeah!!!
