SLCTC Speed workout. 5 people came out tonight. The workout was 6 x 600m with 200m walk/jog recovery. I had no expectations regarding pace, I just tried to stay in control. Hit 2:40, 2:42, 2:39, 2:37, 2:36, 2:36. Recovery was very slow. This was my first track workout since last July, and I feel it's a nice start towards getting where I want to be. I need to work on getting the recoveries shorter, but I think that will happen as my fitness improves. |
