Hey my first post on here! :) This was a week of short miles but increased intensity. I had a good race last weekend and got inspired by a REALLY fast guy to do something more. This run was late in the afternoon after working at home in front of the laptop all day. I didn't feel great but did it. 2 miles at 7:15 pace for warm up and then 4 miles tempo. The first two were a bit slow going into the wind 6:50's but at the turnaround I decided to keep it going and try to take that average down closer to the prescribed pace. I ran faster with the wind at my back. Average pace was 6:40 or something. Anyway it was my first tempo run since early November. DONE.
