That STINKS BIG TIME!!!

How long are you grounded for?

Yikes, too much kissing the ladies after you amzing second place finish in the big marathon I guess. I hope you recover quickly. Are they giving you anything to treat it or just telling you to rest a ton and wait it out?

yeah, Teena, it stinks big time. Looking at stories of elite, college, and high school runners who get it, I'm looking at 3 weeks at best...

Rhett - I wish I got it from that...not sure where it came from. Unfortunately since it is viral, there is not much they can do other than tell me to rest up, eat well, and take my vitamins.

argh...

Oh man Tim, that really stinks!!! I had mono after I met my wife and I had it for a long time. It got so bad that I was falling asleep standing up while I was at work. Just get plenty of sleep and you'll start feeling better. No wonder you've been struggling lately.

Hey Dale - yea I can see that happening for sure.

I'm feeling decent today so I took the kids 90 miles away to Chattanooga to hit the aquarium and pizza...took 2.5 hours to get back. argh

we'll see how today affects my tomorrow. it seems to be a day to day thing.

Yo, Bro..sorry about the kissing disease. Enjoy your doctor-ordered down time. I'm sure it won't slow you down any. Looking forward to your amazing accomplishments in 2010! Happy New Year, Tim!

How are you feeling, Tim? Are you getting plenty of rest?

From timp on Wed, Jan 06, 2010 at 10:57:59 from 129.188.33.26

thanks for the thoughts you guys. I've been feeling pretty normal for a few days now. And now I'm back at work. So I will try to squeeze in a run at lunch or in the dark tonight. Oh how I wish I had access to a treadmill...
