Ran in the heat today so I brought a wet running hat and a handheld waterbottle full of ice water.  When I felt hot i just squirted some on the hat.  It seemed to really help my brain from frying...

I felt good no aches or pains today - not sure how that happened.  I just wanted to get a few easy miles in to start the week on a good note.

Nice miles. Isn't it super humid there? That makes it so hard to cool off even when you're dumping ice water on you.

yeah I guess it is humid here. I grabbed as much shade as I could yesterday too. That makes a ton of difference. Today at work it will be no shade -- i'll try the ice water hat thing again and see how that helps.
