went out after getting the kids supper.  It was raining really good.  It is always fun to get soaked by the cars on the road.  My shoes do a really good job of losing water once they get soaked.  It is pretty cool how they do.

Tim, I want to wish you good luck at the 50k on Sunday, just in case you don't get on the blog until then. Kick some buttocks!!!

thanks a lot - I appreciate it! I'm starting to get nervous for this one. I know how much it is going to hurt. :) I'm trying to figure out my nutrition and fueling today. Instead of taking the family up to SC for the weekend, I'm going to just drive up there really early (3:30AM) on Sunday morning. That is going to make the prerace eating and such a bit strange.

I never seem to get the eating thing down. I always eat the wrong things and then I pay for it during the race. Maybe I should just eat they way I always do since I never have any problems on my training runs.

Probably a good idea. I think we all tend to over think things sometimes.

I may not have carb-loaded enough before the Ogden Marathon and maybe that's what caused me to bonk half way through the race.

I totally prescribe to the carbloading that is on the McMillan website. If you want, I'll find you a link. I have used it for at least two years now and i swear by it. IOt basically tells you when to eat, how many carbs, and how much h20.

Yeah, that would be really cool if you can find that link. Thanks

Getting up early probably won't hurt a bit if you are anything like me and don't sleep the night before a big race anyways.
