| Very warm and humid in Texas. Ran tonight at Florence HS track while my wife walked the track. 1 easy warm-up mile. Then 4 miles tempo pace without any walk break, averaging a relaxing but steady 8:05 pace. With the humidity I was sweating like a pig, so I removed my singlet after the 1st tempo mile. | | Add Comment |

| Ran at Brushy Creek park again with the Wednesday group. 1 mile on the trail warm-up. We did drills, then Bill had us run the figure 8 route (1 mile route) 4 times. Tom, Joe, and I started together for the first 3 loops (7:49; 7:29; 7:39), then Joe tried to run from us on the last loop so I took off with him and we ran a real good push on the last mile. We sprinted the last 200M and I passed him with about 30M to go. Lots of fun. I did the last mile at a 6:39 pace. A nice workout. | | Add Comment |

| Walked the trails around our farm with my wife for about 20 minutes. The cats went with us and Tiger and Chunk got in a tangle and fought it out. Mama kitty jumped in the middle of it and separated them. Goofy cats. A nice walk just as the sun went down. | | Add Comment |
