Evening: Was considering taking a rest day, but decided to hit the gym this evening. It has been stressful at work (crazy busy in addition to trying to transition into a complete electronic medical records system). I had some frustrations to work out. Ha! 9 TM miles: 7 miles, AP 7:25, and then 4 X 400s with 400 super easy between. Ran the 400s at a 6 minute pace, and since this was after the prior 7 miles I was pretty dang exhausted. 20 minutes of strength training. Had to stop at Target on my way home. Bought a half gallon of orange juice while I was there and it was half gone by the time I got home. Swigging straight out of the jug like a bada&$. Okay, there's more to being a bada&$ than that, but what can I say, I was throwing caution to the wind and chugging! Ha! :-) Please bring on the weekend! PLEASE!!!! |
