Short-Term Running Goals: Run a 5K in 30 minutes.
I have just decided to train for a half marathon. - July 11 Farmington Festival Days 1/2 Marathon
Long-Term Running Goals: Continue to run even after my races and be an old running woman. After my half I just may decide on a full marathon but right now just the thought of the half is daunting.
Personal: I am married to Matt (Twinkies) who loves to run. I have been the supportive wife watching him run his races and calling him crazy. We have 4 kids. Our oldest is 7 and our youngest is 1 1/2. I homeschool our two oldest boys. I have decided that I really want to lose my extra fat and get back into shape. I have always hated to run but I think I am finally past that. I hope to someday actually say that I love to run. I would be proud to call myself a runner. Most of my runs are on the treadmill because I'm unable to leave the kids home alone while I go out for a jog. Favorite Blogs: |

| | I'm taking another go at this before I get too fat and uncomfortable to run at all. I just did 3 easy miles with running and walking intervals. On the boring treadmill of course but I did get it done. I'm still in the tired stage but I think it's getting better. |

| | Pretty wimpy distance but I've really been lazy lately...and tired and busy but still. Anyhow, I'm really going to try and put forth the effort to at least do a mile every day, except for Sunday and we'll see about Saturdays. I know I can't go anymore without consistent exercise or I will not start again until after I have my baby. |

| | Well, 2 days in a row again but I am determined not to keep this up all week. I started the kid's home school and running is part of my routine so hopefully I will keep it up. Once again, I know it's not very far but #1 I am pressed for time and #2 I just don't have that much energy or stamina right now. I just have to keep reminding myself that this is way more than I was doing 6 months ago so it's all good. |

| | Finally got back on the treadmill today. I hope that I can keep it up the rest of the week. |

| | I did more walking today but did go a little further. I am starting to feel like the pregnancy is making running harder but I want to stay in shape at least a little so that it's not so hard to get back into running after I have the baby. |
