yikes today was rough! I went about the speed of your average snail this morning, and still felt exhausted! My heart feels like it's being stretched or something, should I be worried? Striders at the end are tough, but they don't feel like they take very long. I still feel sore all over from yesterday. I do not intend on running nine miles again any time soon. But I guess all this pain and stuff is worth getting to say I did it.

Don't you dare be getting down. You have been putting in so much work. I can guarantee that it will pay off for you. Although you said your dirt miles weren't that great yesterday, as we passed you I told the guys that your running form looked the best it ever has (and I wasn't just saying it). You really are becoming more and more of a RUNNER, and that is a huge step to reaching your goals.

And congrats on the big day yesterday - that is way cool to hit that many miles!

hello, I am so sad that we can't find a ride to get free pie. Oh yeah, great job on being awesome.

I'm with coach. You're doing awesomely. 9 miles in 1 day is quite the feat. And remember, running is like many other things. You work very hard, and, sometimes, the results are what you expected. Here's the warning. IT'S A TEST! Once you push through the difficult times, the payoff comes. But if you don't push through and stay consistent, you will never taste the fruit of your hard work. Keep it up.
