Long-Term Running Goals:

I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

AM:I felt good today. This is a good sign- the last few runs have been promising. Pace was likely around 8:30-8:45. Ran with the women's group today. It's good to go with others, otherwise I try to be a hero and do stupid. Afterwards I did 1 hour of body weight exercises and PT exercises. I'm think I'm going to run Hobble Creek for fun. I threw out competitive races for the rest of the year- although Halloween Half looks fun again....

PM: Since Steve is training for a the Hobble Half, starting today (lol). We plan to run at nights. 2 hilly miles. He plans to build up to 6 before the race:)

AM: 1 hour of PT exercises and stretches. They are getting easier. Doing these daily have made the biggest difference for me. So glad I found some answers! Returning may not be as slow as I originally thought, I just have to be smart. Light running later on.

PM: , 2 miles with jogging stroller on same hilly route. Injuries have been very quiet lately! Can't wait for speed again.

AM- 8 mile hilly bike ride. Tried to push the pace the entire time to get the lungs going without the impact. Done. 1 hour of PT exercises afterward.

6:30 AM- Met up with Kam and Andy for 10 easy miles, the last 1.5 I started to drag a little on the uphill. Up and up. Afterwards did 45 mins of PT exercises.

Later today we are going to a very serious Wii Olympic party. That definitely counts for a  good PM workout. Likely a good ab workout from laughing more than anything.
