Long-Term Running Goals:

I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

Quick lunch Mueller Park run with Scott. I was breathing like a maniac for the first 1.5 miles while he talked. I could barely give any verbal indications I was listening. The first mile always makes me feel super out of shape!

6:00am- Plant a fitness TM workout. I chose to do my workout on the TM this morning because I was so tired and didn't feel like I could easily force myself to do any quality miles without a conveyor belt assisting. Not a tough one, a welcome relief compared to the past month. Pace felt good and non-taxing. I hardly felt like I needed a break after each one, and felt like I could have just made it into a tempo workout, but that wasn't today's plan. I'm suprised I even felt that way. Things are shaping up well for Boston.

5:30am- 12.5 miles, 2 peaks, 4:02:30 w/ Scott. Lots of slippery climbing and scrambling up Little Black Mt. in the snow. Not much,  but just enough to make everything slippery and difficult.  Then we hit Ave Twins on the way down because it's Spring Break and we wanted to. Counting this for my long run. Came back and sat in an ice bath then put on my compression tights and walked around with a muffin top the rest of the day.
