Long-Term Running Goals:

I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

6:00AM- It was a bit brisk this morning but I didn't layer any different than usual. There was a guy running with a balacava and looked to have 32 layers on, but he looked comfortable. This morning I ran to Davis Blvd and ran down the regular path. Since my routes are starting to get super redundent, I decided to turn East up 1800S to Bountiful Blvd. It took me 12 mins to climb the hill from Davis Blvd. I wasn't in any mood to push the pace. I saw a guy up there that I saw earlier running on Davis. We acknowldged each other with a mutral "yeeah" sort of look. I ran North on Bountiful Blvd and turned down Vinyard to Rocket Park and back home down 400 E. 6.5 mi, 61 mins, 9:27 AP.

You have bunions? My wife has those and recently had surgery on one of them. So far so good. This will be a nice topic for our next run. :)

Hi Scott! Bunions, ugh. I never even knew I had them or had any issues with them until my coworker returned to work after having that surgery. She points out and says, "Oh look! You have some too! Wow, some good ones too!" Not kidding, from that day on, I've had bunion issues. I wish I never had that conversation with her. I can't help but wonder how my life be different. How are you recovering BTW?

I know a really good doc if you need any work done. Our doc was so good. Altra's are great for bunions.

I feel really good. I only have one little niggle, a little spot on the bottom of my foot. I don't think it is serious and it is getting better every day.
