I did another 9 miler. I was feeling sore, so I started off nice and easy. I ran along a nice paved path that I hadn't run on before. I'll have to try it again. Beautiful morning! My average pace was 7:59, and for the first time in awhile I ran negative splits as I started feeling better.

During the run I envisioned running the 10K I'll be doing in 5 1/2 weeks.

I'm thinking you're going to qualify for sure. It might be a battle, but you'll win it.

I never noticed that you worked in AZ. What part? Doing what? Where did you live?

Thanks for the vote of confidence! If I can stay healthy and continue to be consistent with my training, I will feel pretty good about being able to qualify.

I worked at Intel in Chandler for 5 years and lived in Chandler and Higley. Actually, I lived really close to Queen Creek (Ray and Recker). Where do you work? What part of QC do yo live in? Is it cooking down there yet?

I'll give you a vote of confidence Pic. You've got 4 good months to train and get ready for St. George I think you should be able to qualify with some time to spare.

I live at Ellsworth and Ocotillo. I ran probably about a mile away from where you used to live yesterday. I came down Higley, then followed the UPRR tracks out towards Queen Creek.

It's getting hot, but not quite cooking.
