Ran on the treadmill. 2 miles warmup in 16 minutes. Then random hill workout at level 7 for 7.7 miles and 57 minutes. Then a short cooldown. That was probably the hardest hill workout I've done this year slightly, just because the level was a 7. But it didn't feel quite as hard as previous workouts. So that's a good thing. Oh, the pace on the hills was 7:30.

And how was the recovery?

Hi Burt. Not sure I understand what you're asking... :)

Sorry. I mean, when I first started running it would take me a while to catch my breath (like hours) and for my legs to stop being sore (like days.) Now it's not nearly as long. Sometimes it's instantaneous. So you say it didn't feel as hard as previous workouts, but how is your recovery compared to previous workouts?

Oh, I see. It seems that the better my condition the quicker the recovery. I'm usually tired after every run, but it passes within a few hours usually. And that's without getting as much sleep as I wish I could. The type of workout I did today would have made me much more sore and tired previously than today's did. The one exception was last Saturday after my downhill practice run. i guess I wasn't used to using those muscles because it hammered my legs for 2-3 days.
