Tempo run on the treadmill. First mile in 8:30. Next 3 miles at 7:00 pace. Next 3 miles at 6:35 pace. Next 2.25 miles at progressively faster pace with the last 1/2 mile at 6:00 pace. Then a 0.75 mile cooldown. This was about the same intensity as last week's tempo run, but I didn't feel as strong. The goal is to feel more comfortable at faster pace, so I'll call it good. |
