Lots of traveling today. Tonight I simply didn't feel like running, and my calf was still sore, so I ran a token mile so I could keep my streak alive. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I ran it in 9:16 on main street of Logan, UT. Not the best part of town where I am staying. :)

Sounds smart.

geez Steve, you should have called me and I would have taken you for a run on the famous planet walk. Only elite locals know about the planet walk. and you missed your chance this time. and next time stay at my house instead of those seedy main street motels!!

You guys going to be around this weekend? We might be coming up to Salt Lake tomorrow and staying the night, not for sure yet. If your around maybe we could do a run Saturday morning.

Scott, thx again for taking the time to help me out today. And for the offer to stay with you guys. :) Yeah, I've heard of the planet walk from people's blogs but have no idea what it is.

Dustin, we'll be in town. The only possible conflict is that I am helping my sister-in-law move on Saturday morning. So we could run if we do it really early or we could try for the evening if you're still going to be around.

Steve, you are welcome to stay with us anytime you are here. Hope the balloon held up! hey I am thinking of coming down and running the DN 10K tomorrow as kind of a spur of the moment insane decision!!

From Steve Piccolo on Thu, Jul 23, 2009 at 19:23:14 from 66.60.123.63

Yep, the balloon survived the trip and is sitting here in the living room. You're also welcome to stay with us anytime you are down here. Even tomorrow if you want. Either way, good luck on the race! I might see you since I'll be watching my brother do the marathon.

Steve you'll have to look for my friend Mike Warren he is on the blog. He is doing the marathon and is really tall. He'll have a St. George Running Center singlet on and is shooting for a 3:15. If we come up now it might just be for the day tomorrow. We are looking at trading in our explorer for a mini-van. I'll let you know if we decided to come up or stay the night and if so then we could figure out a possible run.

Sounds good. That's a big step, Dustin...upgrading to the minivan. :)
