I ran UV Marathon again this year. My training was a bit better than last year, and I felt good going into it. I followed the same pacing and fueling strategy as last year. But the race was a struggle. I stayed on pace for the first half. But around the halfway mark, my legs really started hurting, and I felt sluggish and hazy. I am not sure why. I am more sore than I remember being after a marathon. Oh well. It was a perfect day for a marathon. Not sure when I'll race again.
