Did 3 miles this morning on the elliptical machine at 8:00 pace. It was fine.

I'm now completed my training for the past 15 weeks in preparation for the half marathon on Saturday. I can say I haven't missed one workout in those weeks. So I feel confident in achieving a post-mission PR. (I ran a half when I was 16, but I didn't record my time. The best time I have recorded is 1:43.) My legs have been fairly sore the past few days, but they feel like they're recovering and will be rearing and ready to go for the race. My biggest focus in the next couple of days will be to prepare mentally for the race but also not stress too much about it and to enjoy the experience.

Good luck with the race. What time are you shooting for?

7:30 pace will put you at 1:38:15,

7:00 pace will put you around 1:31:42

Thanks! I will be shooting for 7:15 pace, which will put me around 1:35, which would be Boston qualifying pace (if I were doing a full).

That sounds like a good plan. I haven't really looked at the course profile, but I think you should be able to run 7:15's pretty easy. Just pace yourself and don't go out to fast.
