| | Sluggish after so much time off but at least I got out for a little run this morning. 4.62 miles in 39:32 for an average pace of 8:33/mile. | Add Comment |
| | Not sure of exact distance or time because it was a new route and my GPS was dead this morning. My estimate is six miles in 51 minutes. Lots of hills. | Add Comment |
| | I'd say I had a good run this morning. 5.47 in 45:52 for an average of 8:23/mile. These were my splits (8:57, 8:21, 8:27 (all uphill against the wind), 8:20, 7:59 (mostly downhill), and 8:06. | Add Comment |

Flat run on the Murdock Canal Trail. Didn't see anyone for the first 5 miles. Then I saw two bikers and later a runner. I suppose that most people prefer to exercise in the daylight.
Had a decent run, but started out slowly. 7.28 miles in 1:02:41 for an average pace of 8:37/mile. Splits were 9:55, 8:42, 8:36, 8:42, 8:24, 8:17, 7:59, and 7:31. | Comments(1) |
| | Ran 10 miles, mostly in the dark. But this time it was in the evening dark rather than the morning dark. I ran after a pizza and sugary dinner and it seemed kind of sluggish the whole time. More significantly, it affected my ability to sleep when I got home. Probably I'll stick with the morning runs from now on. The run itself was pretty steady with 10.01 miles in 1:26:09 or 8:37/mile.
