Late morning run out past Odd Fellows home and around the housing addition. I haven't done that route in quite awhile. Still hot, but not too bad with a nice cooler breeze. My family is just getting over Covid. I never got it that I know of, but it it went through the whole family from person to person over the past couple weeks.

Ran out to Peterson Park, around the park a couple times, and back home for about 3.75 miles. It was pretty hot and humid. I saw the cross country camp runners finishing their workout. Symphany is still recovering from Covid and hasn't run for a week and a half. I probably could have run with the cross country camp, but it feels weird without my daughter there running.

The YM activity tonight was disc golf at the EIU course. I brought a small kid's frisbee and an ultimate frisbee. One of the young men needed a frisbee, so I offered him the choice. He chose the big one leaving me with the kid frisbee. I had fun throwing it about 25 feet, running after it, and doing it again and again and again. I was the only one running after my frisbee. The guy showing us how to do it actually had some real discs and was pretty good. After about six holes into the 9 hole course, I asked if I could borrow a disc. My score was cut in half after that. Having the right equipment helps.

I got up and ran a little earlier today to beat the heat. It was cloudy and cooler, so I decided to run along the trail. I ran out past the power station for a quarter mile and headed back home. It felt pretty good. Spent the rest of the morning working in the backyard.
