I didn't get out yesterday, but today was a good run.  I ran about 1.6 along the Provo River trail to warm up and then ran a couple of 0.5 mile intervals just to see where my fitness is at.  I ran them both at around 3:00 and felt like I could have gone faster if I wanted to.  It felt good to run at a decent pace for a bit.  I then finished off with about 0.6 back to the house.

okay MR. DAniel, what is your last name and what high school did you go to? If you ran for VAlpo I should've seen every tue or weds for indoor meets at ISU for 4 years.... Not to mention high school. I'm going to feel dumb aren't I?

From Daniel Allen on Tue, Oct 30, 2007 at 22:56:10

I posted a reply to your blog, but I guess you missed it. My last name is Allen, and I went to Webo and graduated in 1996. I was on the same team with Keith Lively (everyone seems to remember him). At Valpo, I ran several times at ISU for cross country and track. If you ever noticed some weird guy from Valpo cheering for you at meets it was probably me. I hope that jogs your memory (no pun intended).

Sorry. I did miss your reply! I totally remember Keith! I actually have a bunch of pictures of he, paul, and me on a trip to Cal. for Jr. nationals (or whatever it was called!) I ran with the webo team once during thte summer! I do remember lots of "weird" guys... but none from Valpo! I like the pun... English TEacher here... Don't judge my spelling though! What did you run?

From Daniel on Wed, Oct 31, 2007 at 11:01:24

If I recall correctly, that trip to California was for Jr. Olympics nationals, and it was for New Horizons track club there in Crawfordsville. I tried to cheer for you when I could. I usually ran the 800 and 1500/Mile for track.

Ah yes! thanks starman! I forgot all about the track club and ed stuffle! you should post a pic!
