I decided that Paul was right about me having a self-deprecating sense of humor and Bethany was right about me being too hard on myself, so I changed the name of my blog.  I'm not saying that I don't think I'm slow, I'm just saying that I won't put the emphasis there anymore.  Having said that, on to today's run.

I walked to the Planet Walk, then ran 2 miles with Bethany.   We only stopped to walk twice during the whole two miles (well, three times if you count the 50 yards at the end, which I don't) and probably ran more than 1.5 miles out of the 2 (Bethany, oh wearer of the Garmin, please don't correct me if I'm wrong about that, I'm feeling pretty good about myself).  I wasn't really sore at all today, but some of my muscles were tight.  I'll have to get a good stretch in tonight.

Oh wearer of the garmin! ha! I didnt even want to look at it. I let Cody digest it all for me. I want to just run the pace that feels good and not worry about time or speed. So, no corrections from me! Thanks for a great run, you really kept me going!

And those muscles you mentioned, yeah, I feel what you mean! We should end a run or two at one of our houses and do some post run Yoga. Help stretch out.

PS I like your new blog name. I liked the old one too, but glad you are giving yourself a little credit. way to go!

Yeah, I considered renaming it something like, "You might be a Penguin if..." but I think I'll hold off on that until I actually find out if I qualify as one.

Sounds like you had a good run today! That 5k in Moab is going to be a piece of cake!!!

I like that name too. Save it for later when/if you do qualify. You never know, you may become a training queen and never be a penguin. In which case, I wills steal your clever name.

I missed running with you today, but it was good to see what I can do on my own. (it was pathetic by the way.)
