Well, I wasn't going to say anything, but since Lybi figured it out...Yes, I am expecting.  I am a little frustrated with how tired it is making me, but I'm almost nine weeks now, so I'm looking forward to the next month being over so I can have energy again.  I'm really jealous of Jamie, who it appears is not experiencing the fatigue that I am, even though she is the pretty much at the same point in her pregnancy.  Oh well, like I've said a million times, I'm still doing Moab, I'll just probably be doing it slower than I originally hoped.  When I told my co-worker Brian that I was still doing Moab, he said, "You can still run?"  My response, of course, was, "Well, my legs still work."  Anyway, I have been wanting this for a long time and am extremely excited.  Any wisdom that anybody wants to impart to me, I'm all ears.

Thanks Stacy, just saw your comment, I know sleep I need right now more than about any thing, but I went out for a short run this morning and getting out of the same four walls did a world of good! Thanks again!

Well congratulations to you and Paul I also was so very tired with all 3 of my children God blesses us with our children we will pray for a healthy pregnancy and that your energy level will increase.

Alright!

From Jon on Sat, Jan 19, 2008 at 14:09:34

Congrats, congrats, congrats.

You can talk to Marci- she knows a lot about being active with a big belly. Heck, our kids will practically be twins.

From Jamie on Sat, Jan 19, 2008 at 14:16:52

Stacy, congratulations! It's good to have a fellow runner in the same boat! Wow, we really are close in how far along we are. So, when is your approximate due date? My first (10 week) apt is toward the end of the month and perhaps my due date will change at that time. Until then, my due date is August 14.

As far as running, hang in there! Take it one day at a time; it's the only way to get through the tiredness. When I think about the likelihood that I'll be tired for the next two years, it's overwhelming and I wonder why I've made the plunge again. (They are so worth it though, aren't they?) I have and will continue to have days where I've missed my morning run. I have to just shake it off and look forward to tomorrow. Be sure to keep me updated on things. It will help me a ton!

Hip Hip Hooray! So very excited for you both. You are going to make excellent parents. Maybe we will dump our kids on you every so often to give you some experience...haha. As far as wisdom, i dont think there is such a thing, kids are random, all different and you just wing it as you go! Yeah! Congrats!

So I've been wondering as well but didn't want to say anything, but now I can! Congrats to you and Paul! That is way exciting and fun!

From Logan on Sat, Jan 19, 2008 at 15:46:01

From Shauna on Sat, Jan 19, 2008 at 18:25:48

Congratulations! Glad you'll be keeping up with the running. I'm sure it will be a big help throughout the pregnancy (not speaking from experience, just what I've heard!).

From Lybi on Sun, Jan 20, 2008 at 11:43:38

CONGRATULATIONS! Sorry to let the cat out of the bag. He he. I've been biting my tongue for a couple weeks, though, so I should get some credit. You can't hide anything from your bloggie friends!

Enjoy those naps--I hope you aren't having any nausea? I applaud your efforts to keep exercising. You've probably already exceeded the amount of exercise I did with my 1st pregnancy. :)

PS Your baby bean looks very cute!

I'm with Bethany on that whole practice thing- if you want any hands on experience, Marci and I are happy to lend out kid anytime.

Hey congrats! I am excited for you guys, you will be great parents. I remember when we saw Jaren at that age and he was so little, but at the same time you could totally see that he was a little baby, pretty amazing!

Don't worry we will take it easy on the snowmobiles.

From andee on Wed, Jan 23, 2008 at 10:24:22

CONGRATULATIONS!! What an exciting time for you.

From MichelleL on Sun, Feb 03, 2008 at 10:31:17

A belated congratulations! I hope you have been feeling ok these last couple of weeks. At least it is discomfort with a purpose.

For running, I haven't seen posts but hope you are getting out there when you can. It is hard to take time off when you are pregnant and then jump back into running. So try to get out there each day, whether the run turns out to be good, bad, or ugly.

Congrats again!
