I currently run for Wofford College in South Carolina, where I double major in biology and Spanish. I will be spending 5 months studying abroad in Chile in 2017. I love cookie dough a little too much and spend most of my free time outside or asleep (or both). Living & running to know Christ and to make Him known!

55 minute progressive tempo at Western & the rec. Averaged 7:36 which came up to be 7.24 miles. Slowest mile was the first, at 8:07, and fastest was the 6th at 7:25. Last mile was close though, at 7:30. 

Going hiking at Joyce Kilmer later! A little sore from yesterday's hike at Chimney Rock but nothing substantial.

45 minute run downtown / throughout Dillsboro. 

Not sure how many people actually read my blog but I figured I'd put this out there. This summer (starting in 8 days) I am spending 8 weeks in Myrtle Beach living, working, and receiving ministry training together in community with a bunch of other college students for a program called Leadership Project through a campus ministry called Campus Outreach that I am involved with at Wofford. I'll be running in the mornings during the designated time for athletes to practice, then working a job off-site for a few hours during the day, then returning to our site and doing bible study activities, going to seminars, and learning about evangelism tactics. I would majorly appreciate prayerful and financial support!! In prayer, things like the overturning of distraction, adequate energy and focus, and a moldable heart would be awesome things to pray for me for. 35 minutes easy along South River Road for the first 25, then the last 10 on North River. 8 flat per mile. Felt great.

Straight up blissful run today! I was actually sad it was over. I felt like I could have happily gone at least another half an hour before I would feel like I was bored or tired or something. I know we are easing back into it and trying not to get anyone injured now or burnt out later, but I'm ready to get back into my big girl mileage. Anyways, 8:12 pace + full body circuit afterwards. 666 calories according to Genevieve (my watch)...I always suspected counting calories was satanic

(sometimes I think I'm funny)
