Boston qualifier for 2011. Two-time Boston finisher. 19 marathons so far in 10 states, Canada, Germany, England and Sweden. Next up: London (4/25/17)
5K -- 21:57; 10K -- 45:54; 20K-- 1:42:39, Half -- 1:39:30. All subject to improvement. Maybe. Or maybe not. Personal: Physician assistant/hospitalist, divorced since December 2010, one child (son). Ran high school track, took 10 years off, ran a 15K on my 25th birthday, took off next 21 years. |

| Easy 4 at MAFC, including a mile of Gallowalking with Jen, then put the hammer down for the last mile. Not because that was in the plan, but because I got tired of getting lapped by two young women who seemed to be running about 8:00 pace -- and were running in the inside lanes. Had enough of that, so I pushed the last mile. It was Jen's first run since the 5K 5.5 weeks ago. She did OK, one lap run, one walk, for a mile, stopped because transactions interfered. I kept going for three more miles, having run a mile before she arrived. Hopefully will feel like doing 14 or so tomorrow, something resembling a long run 31 days before Stockholm. |

| Tried a long run. Should have eaten breakfast first. Thus bonked. Legs weren't real happy even before the bonk, which wasn't a big surprise given my lack of running in general and double-digit runs in particular. Got it done in 2:45, though. |
