Last day and definetily the hardest. went 36 miles and gained over 2500 feet of elevation. For the first bit I was with my uncle in the lead, who was totally mashing it. He does ironman's, so his endurance really kicked in today. Once we got to the part where we came up out of the canyon, he took off. This climb we went up 1250 feet in 1.2ish miles. I didn't stop at all, which dosen't sound like much of an accomplishmet, but for me, a guy that hates hills especially on bikes, it's a feat for me. After that we had 15 miles of dirt road that kept going on forever. went with my uncle on this part too. We were cruising. We went up more than 1000 feet of elevation during this stretch, and we averaged about 14mph. I was ready to die. Once we got onto the road my uncle's super powers unleashed and he took off. I still pushed it, but nowhere near as fast as my uncle went. Overall a fun time, I'm not sure if I would recomment it to someone or not.
