Personal:

I'm 64, retired RN, happily married, nana to 14 beautiful grandchildren, mother to 6 children (1 daughter, 5 sons) who are kind, hardworking, caring, wonderful people! Wish they live closer!!!  :)  :)  :)

Picked up running in 2005 at age 50, to stay healthy so I can take care of my husband who had endocarditis resulting in AVR and MVR in 2004, end stage renal failure in 2014, kidney transplant on Dec 30, 2015.  Six months after the kidney transplant, we discovered that he has a rare auto-immune disease that was probably triggered in 2004 with then the undiagnosed infective endocarditis.  The doctors had to make up a name for this rare disease, Monoclono Gammopathy with Renal Significance (MGRS).  It is not curable.  After desperately trying different chemotherapies, the doctor finally found one immuno-therapy, Daratumamab, that works to treat the MGRS.  It is a miracle!!!

Grateful for the gift of life, blessings, dear friends and loved ones!!! Thankful for the ability to move, walk, jog, and yes run!!!!

My daughter Larissa and her family got into town yesterday. :) She and I ran to meet Karen and Leslie and we ran the rail trail hill loop.  They kick my trash on the uphill. Nice cool morning with partly cloudy sky after last night's rain.  :) :) :)

It was so fun to spend the day at Thanksgiving Point with 5 of my grandchildren and shopping with the girls at Traverse Mtn Outlet.  Lotsa walking, now my dogs are tired! :)

Look at you and all of this technology on the blog!! Love it! I can't even figure that kind of stuff out to put on here. Sounds like you are just having a lovely time with everyone. I think I saw somewhere, probably Facebook, that there was another wedding in your family??? congrats! It's neat to see your family grow in special ways.

I think about you. I will be there most of October, so I would love to get some runs with you. Are you doing sgm? I sure hope so, if not I am sure you have a marathon planned around the corner. I just love you Smooth.

Nice run. I am glad you are having a fun time with your grand children.

Bec ~ There's not much technology involved. I just copy and paste the data from my Garminconnect webpage. :)

David got married last Thur in the Mesa Temple. He and Maddi flew to New York where he is starting his 5 years residency program in general surgery.

I think of you often too. Yes I am doing SGM. It will be my 9th. So happy you will be in Utah. I can't wait to see Naomi. I'm sure your mom is too! :) LOVE you heaps, Becca!!! :) :) :)

Nancy ~ so happy my grand children are here...not long enough though! I don't get to see them very often as they live out of States.
