Personal:

I'm 64, retired RN, happily married, nana to 14 beautiful grandchildren, mother to 6 children (1 daughter, 5 sons) who are kind, hardworking, caring, wonderful people! Wish they live closer!!!  :)  :)  :)

Picked up running in 2005 at age 50, to stay healthy so I can take care of my husband who had endocarditis resulting in AVR and MVR in 2004, end stage renal failure in 2014, kidney transplant on Dec 30, 2015.  Six months after the kidney transplant, we discovered that he has a rare auto-immune disease that was probably triggered in 2004 with then the undiagnosed infective endocarditis.  The doctors had to make up a name for this rare disease, Monoclono Gammopathy with Renal Significance (MGRS).  It is not curable.  After desperately trying different chemotherapies, the doctor finally found one immuno-therapy, Daratumamab, that works to treat the MGRS.  It is a miracle!!!

Grateful for the gift of life, blessings, dear friends and loved ones!!! Thankful for the ability to move, walk, jog, and yes run!!!!

On the phone all morning.  Man, there's so much follow up to do from the meetings last night.   Does S-T-R-E-T-C-H-I-N-G while talking on the phone count?  There must have been a dozen knots in my leg muscles. Ate good and hydrated well this morning.  Took vitamins and calcium supplements.

Going to do some yoga now before attacking the mess in the basement.

The Celine Dion concert got postponed.  Darn, I was so looking forward to this concert.  Plan B for date night: dinner at the club and may be the James Bond movie if it's not pre-empted by all the Twilight showings.

I will be so rested and ready for tomorrow's run (I HOPE I HOPE) and then it's showtime for byu-utah.  GO COUGARS!!!

Ry and I tried to see the new Bond movie last Friday. It was sold out everywhere. You'll have to tell me if it is any good. Bond is not Denzel, but he's pretty cute!! :)

Larry loves Bond movies. If the Bond movie sold out I'm watching Remember the Titans...Wendy has a copy if I can't find mine. My exercise room where the big screen sits is a GIANT mess...like me.

You can never go wrong with Denzel and the Titans!!

From Smooth on Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 16:52:06

Yeah, I figure it will get us all pumped up for tomorrow's game if nothing else. I wonder which team Denzel would root for? Blue or Red?

Hey smooth I saw the Bond movie the other day my hubby loved it but I can't watch violence, I know it is fake but I still can't find enjoyment in watching somebody get hurt even if they "deserved" it.

From Kelli on Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 22:10:00

We saw it last weekend (bought our tickets a few days before). It was really pretty good!

Have a good night and a great run tomorrow!!

Oh, and stretching while talking on the phone is perfect, and while watching TV!

Love the chase scenes, on foot, cars, planes. Don't care for the violence. The action scenes were well choreographed especially with the dual simultaneous actions. Interesting plots, the usual good triumph over evil, globe trotting, espionage, signature of Bond are all there.

How cute was Bond? On a scale from 1 to 10?

From Smooth on Sat, Nov 22, 2008 at 22:26:20

Bon 6, Denzel 9.

From Smooth on Sat, Nov 22, 2008 at 22:28:17

I mean to type Bond or is his name Craig. He was not cute in this movie. He was insomic, no sleep. But you should check out his 6 packs.
