I'm new to running scene.  My father, brother and brother-in-law have all ran marathons, so I thought I'd give running a try.

Coming off an injury (Excuses, Excuses!!)

Short-Term Running Goals:

Get some 5K's, 10K's and a few half marathons under my belt. Stay injury free to run the 2009 St. George Marathon.

Long-Term Running Goals:

2009 STG Marathon!!!!!!!!!!

Personal:

 1 daughter who want to be a runner.  She wants to be fast like her  uncle and grandpa, not slow like her mom.

Run with my dad this morning out around laverkin.  I have to eat more carbs.  Between the heat and the pace, i died around 5 and had to walk for a few. That is always annoying especially on such a short run.

Walking today.  My knees were pretty sore and just stiff from yesterdays run so to walk felt great.  I have missed walking and am gonna have to start going more.

Walking again.  Trying to save my knees and loosten my joints.  It was fun to walk again, I need to do more of it.

Laverkin loop again with my dad.  I only had about 4.5 hours sleep last night so we went pretty slow, didnt have alot of juice.  My hip sure did hurt the first couple blocks and I was running quite gimpy like for that time.  I didnt enjoy that at all.  But it did start feeling better after that.

I miss my spin bike.  Hopefully the part will be here early next week.  ( I think continuing on my spin bike with the broken pedal is what hurt my hip, duh for me)
