Run with my dad this morning out around laverkin. I have to eat more carbs. Between the heat and the pace, i died around 5 and had to walk for a few. That is always annoying especially on such a short run.

Drinking plenty of fluids (ie water) the day before will help a ton as well. I notice dehydration issues before anything else.
