82F, S 15 mph.  8:57 AP.  Legs were pretty crushed from yesterday's workout, so I let them go whatever pace they wanted.  They were not too ambitious.  I'll do more easy running like this tomorrow and will hopefully be ready to tackle the rest of the week on Wednesday.

Nice recovery run Joe, I need to do more of those ... but I have been opting for recovery bike rides. They are probably good too, but my mileage does not look so good at the end of the week!

Out of the 64 miles you ran last week, I'm glad 4 of them were fast miles.

I'd give anything to run 7 at 8:47 pace...! Sleep - Eat - Run ... You just have to balance the three. I haven't seemed to master the balance yet!

Nice workout yesterday and recovery runs are just like you said- whatever the legs want!

JG - sometimes I think the recovery runs are more restful than not running at all...can't prove it though!

Burt - I like to train using the 16-to-1 rule. You've never heard of it?

IJR - I wonder if anyone can "master the balance." it's tough

Dan - I can usually tell how tired my legs are by how slow the recovery run goes
