63F.  MLR today and an early, early start.  Dark the whole time with no moonlight either -- which I mention as my excuse for biting the dust once on the dirt roads.  No damage done except to my pride.  7:49 AP.

That's kinda like that saying about a tree that falls in the forest...If there's no one there to hear it, does it make a sound? So what time did you start?

Wow! That's alot of miles this week! By the way, you need to update your 10k PR. With how you've been training and improving, you'll probably PR all over the place this year!

We've renamed him "The Man of Steel"...!!!

IJR - a bit after 4...I guess if I never mentioned falling then it wouldn't have happened huh?

TL - thanks for the reminder, just updated it. The official results had me 2 seconds faster than my watch...so I had to change it!

Tumbleweeds. Tripping on dirt. So fast, yet,...clumsy.

From Kelli on Wed, Sep 28, 2011 at 18:31:08 from 71.219.67.175

OUCH, glad no damage was done. You need to get a headlamp!

Not too worry - I have had my fair share of running gaffes. Fortunately when it is dark no one sees. However, the incident with the low hanging tree branch did require a trip to the emergency room and stitches! :-)

From I Just Run on Thu, Sep 29, 2011 at 16:16:32 from 166.205.9.39

Now that doesn't fall into the category of "tree in the forest" even though there was a tree involved :-)

From SlowJoe on Thu, Sep 29, 2011 at 23:17:23 from 75.109.104.60

April - it was more than dirt, ok? I'm sure there was a stick or a rock or something...

Kelli - you are probably right, but I think I'd rather fall down once and a while.

DH - wow, that is a real running injury - I hope you told everyone you got the cut in a fight

IJR - yeah no hiding that one

Yeah, I do not like wearing them either that is why I make my husband. ;o)
