62F, winds SSW 27-45 mph.  yeah.  Obviously I'm still running easy this week, although my stride feels funny fighting that much wind.  I would say my achilles is better than yesterday, and with only a single human-size dose of mobic today.  The slight discomfort seemed to get slightly better as I ran again today, but it was still present.  Moving in the right direction though, I think.  Huge improvement from a couple days ago -- as I was limping around at work it felt like a season-ender on Monday but I am cautiously optimistic right now.  8:16 AP.

Good lord. I hate wind. Impressive battling and great pace in those monstrous gusts!

Holy crap! Nasty winds.... glad things are looking good for you with your nagging aches and pains. Sounds like your biggest problem is those darn winds.

Just checked and it's now 34 gusting to 50...I guess it could've been worse. I think I would take the wind every day if it meant no injuries.

Great news ... glad to hear it!

You just need a sail you can open when you're running with the wind and then you could "Run Like The Wind"....!

The wind has been crazy here too! I hope it dies down before your race...because that's mighty stiff wind! Glad you achilles is better. Mobic is amazing stuff, far superior to motrin in my opinion. So, only 15mg today?

DH - not sayin I'm out of the woods yet, but...whew

IJR - the tailwind does feel like flying -- almost like all you have to do is pick up your legs and get whisked forward.

April - I'm actually down to 7.5 now. I am definitely a fan, it's my 3rd "****itis" injury where it's come in handy.

Good news, hope the trend continues. Those are gale-force winds, unbelievable.
