79F, 84%.  7.2 @ 8:06 AP.  Last 0.2 miles was @ MP.  It was pretty hard.  It's difficult to believe I'm actually going to sign up for Boston in 9 days, where they'll expect me to go an additional 26 miles.

I'm signing up for Boston too, so we're gonna have to help each other run 2:50!!

That sounds awesome! Hate that 79 degrees though

There so much time for Boston! You could sit on the couch for 2 months, base build all through November and December and be fine (though I don't recommend it!).

Those Bostonians, and their expectations! Come on!

I'm hoping to get through this HOT weather too and come out the other side with new found strength! Hopefully I can get entered in Boston too. I'm a little nervous only being about 8:00 under my qualifying time. Everyone's going to be trying to enter this year.

Sadly I wont be joining you this year... but... the .2 is the hardest!

thanks all

April - so awesome that you'll be there!

Good luck everybody in Boston. They upped it to 36,000 runners. Of course, that includes the automatic berths who didn't finish last year, but most of them would have been competing for spots anyway. I think at this level that almost anybody that is under the qualifying time will get in, but maybe not.

I like your optimistic view, Flat. But 10 am, on Sept. 16th can't get here fast enough for me, so at least, I can have some closure on whether I get in, or not. Pins and needles over here!
