76F, 81%.  16 @ 7:47 AP.  Last mile in 5:57 - most of the work in the last half mile.  The only good thing about running in my neighborhood, and I really mean the ONLY good thing, is that I can situate a run to have the last mile to my house about 60' net downhill.  I can also set it up to finish 80' uphill, but you know, I don't do that.

Downhill finishes are the best. :) nice run today

Yep, nice run. I have a downhill in my neighborhood, actually. 1.2 feet according to the plat filed with the county.

Twins Cities has a fantastic downhill finish, but getting there kinda sucks.

From allie on Sat, Aug 15, 2015 at 12:41:05 from 24.99.46.55

i have an uphill finish in every single direction to my house. don't believe me? you probably shouldn't but it's true.

you finished your long run at the exact same pace that i did a mile repeat yesterday, just wanted to point that out.

From Tom Slick on Sat, Aug 15, 2015 at 13:03:25 from 50.8.100.37

Hey, every last run around my home ends in an uphill run from all directions too. Life gives you lemons, turn them into mile hill repeats.

From Tom K on Sat, Aug 15, 2015 at 15:08:49 from 174.58.54.215

I have to drive to get to a hill.

Nice run Joe. I am a believer in downhill finishes. I am also a believer in downhill starts. Downhill half way is nice too. I figure if you install a ski lift at the bottom, it could be achieved.

From allie on Sat, Aug 15, 2015 at 16:01:34 from 66.102.8.237

it can also be achieved via a fleet of buses that transport runners from the bottom of a mountain to the top and then have them run down. this is the standard method of racing in utah.

From SlowJoe on Sat, Aug 15, 2015 at 16:06:34 from 107.77.100.123

I was meant to live in Utah.

What is the magical place you speak of?? Do they have limo service?

Hi Allie

From SlowJoe on Sat, Aug 15, 2015 at 17:35:50 from 107.77.100.123

Now they just need a race where you get bussed up to the top, and limo'd down to the bottom. I think I'd do well.

From Matt Schreiber on Sun, Aug 16, 2015 at 20:57:44 from 66.17.112.31

80' uphill!? Ha! Who would do that.

From Jake K on Mon, Aug 17, 2015 at 10:23:41 from 199.190.170.31

4:00/1:57 for the last two half mile splits?

From SlowJoe on Mon, Aug 17, 2015 at 10:38:34 from 12.182.148.249

Yeah right Jake...Who am I, Rudisha??

It was 3:59/1:58.
