40F.  8 @ 7:38 AP.  Last few Disney miles, now we're waiting in the airport.  Great vacation, I must say.  By forcing the kids to miss school we really skipped out on the big crowds (and big prices) that DW usually has.  Yea truancy!

I did ok trying to run while in FL - 74 miles in the 8 mornings we had here, including 1 run that I could count as a workout.  The time on feet from visiting the parks all week also has to count for something, right?  Probably not.

I like everything about this entry. Vacation > school, thriftiness, and that's a great week of training for Disney World!

You probably were on your feet for a solid 16-18 hours a day, on concrete, right?

Your estimate is not far off. If they had an Olympic sport where you just stand around and/or walk slowly, I'd be in very competitive shape right now.

74 has got to be some kind of vacation record. I'm glad you had a great trip.

Good to hear the trip was fun! 74 miles on vacation is pretty legit. Your feet will be ready for those 50k's!

Great disciplined vacation running. Also enjoyed the pictures you posted, looks like you had a great time. And I fully support taking the kids out of school, if only because the schools hate it so much. My friend used to check his daughter out of school on Fridays and take her skiing, always liked that story.
