Wind out of the north, 25-35 mph today.  Yuck.  I decided to run an out-and-back with the first 7 mostly headwind, and the last 7 mostly tailwind.

Splits going out were 8:11, 8:18, 8:36, 8:43, 8:30, 8:14, 8:31.  Then 7:26, 7:19, 7:21, 7:21, 7:26, 7:33, 7:39.  AP 7:56.

I guess with the ridiculous wind it was ok (some of the headwind legs were almost comical when the big gusts hit), but I was actually falling apart a bit the last couple miles, which I don't think should've happened.  Oh well, I think I just need to get used to not running in perfect conditions anymore.

That was my last tough workout so I'm just hoping I did enough...we'll see!

Thanks for the preview. I have that wind in the morning.

You have done enough, the money is in the bank!! I am sure it was the wind that zapped you, it has a tendency to do that.

SO EXCITED for this race i can hardly stand it.

Will there be a good (bad) amount of wind on Jan. 30? I hope not.

Good battle today! Pace looks good. You are ready!

Flat - definitely no fun

Thanks for the vote of confidence Kelli, I think it'll either go really well or take 4+ hours, not sure which yet!

Tracy, so far the 10-day forecast is getting me excited: almost non-existent wind, and temps in the low 40s. We'll see what actually happens though, it's a ways out.
