AM:  4 @ 8:34 pace on the treadmill (while shaving my legs and dissecting women's poetry).  I'll hit the roads this afternoon when Danielle gets back home.

PM:  44F, NNE 14-22 mph.  13 @ 7:26 AP.  Mostly easy, but with some vicious strides/sprints on the way home.  I actually felt pretty strong today.

Refuel w/ a Luna bar and you'll be all set!

haha - I had to look that up. I'm gonna go eat one right now.

I fell out of my chair when I read "treadmill"!

Rye would be proud of you :-)

I had to look it up too; what's worrying is that Jake knows all there is to know about luna bars:)

From Jason D on Fri, Mar 22, 2013 at 13:17:26 from 24.1.80.94

I like Luna Bars, even if I shyly pass them over the counter at the place in the student union.

From SlowJoe on Fri, Mar 22, 2013 at 17:26:13 from 96.61.24.215

IJR - have to admit that having a TM comes in handy sometimes...

Bam - maybe that is his secret...I'll try anything once.

Jason - they look pretty healthy, so that's understandable. But how do you explain purchasing Midol along with it?

From ACorn on Fri, Mar 22, 2013 at 17:27:38 from 24.2.76.146

Great week Joe! I appreciate your openness and courage to share the types of activities you enjoy while on the treadmill. I pretty much just watch Steven Seagal movies if I ride my bike inside or run on the treadmill. He's a great actor and I'm a manly man.

From SlowJoe on Fri, Mar 22, 2013 at 17:42:16 from 96.61.24.215

ACorn - you are a shining beacon of manliness. I'm glad I left out the part about watching Oprah on TV.

Joe: You may go by "SlowJoe" but neither your running nor your wit fits such a description! That one got me.

From Bam on Fri, Mar 22, 2013 at 21:28:34 from 89.126.28.24

It's 3:14 a.m. over here and I'm up dishing out the medicine for the girls - the whole crew has come down with the lurgy.

Acorn, your post just made me grunt with approval - as us real men do. Chuck Norris is another class act. I suspect most of the compression sock wearing, leg shaving, luna bar eating 'men' on here prefer something more sedate, you know, like Little House On The Praire. I'd say that's right up Joe's street:)

Not gonna Google Luna Bars, but what a week you are having, truly peaking in every sense of the word. Congratulations on a great training cycle.
