AM - 81F, warm morning.  6 miles, 8:45 AP, with more to come this evening.  Pfitz says to break recovery days into doubles if you're doing more than 8 miles that day so I will give it a try, as much as I don't want to do doubles....ever.  My typical week for the rest of the summer will have 3 MLRs and 3 recovery days, with Tuesday probably getting broken into 2 recovery runs.

PM - 101F, ESE 15-23 mph.  I waited until after dinner to run so it could cool off outside...  5 miles and change, also at an 8:45 AP.

Doubles wore me out but I liked them. For me there was not any other way to get to the weekly mileage I wanted without doing doubles.

I liked doubles when I did them too--same reason, only real way to beef up mileage--but it's hard to squeeze them in and that's too many showers a day!

Yep, I'm with them- I eat a ton when I am doing doubles though. The hardest part is finding the time. Nice work Joe.

DH - I'll only be doing 1/week on recovery days so I'm hoping they will have the opposite effect and help me recover.

April - yeah I thought about the shower thing, what a pain.

Dan - thanks, I definitely needed a 4th meal before bed.
