77F, 90%.  Longview, TX.  8:11 AP.  I ran a big loop to the east of town, lots of good hills.  It was still warm and muggy but I felt a lot better today after an impromptu day off yesterday.  Sped it up pretty good the last half mile, and felt really smooth and fast.  I'll probably take tomorrow off too, and try to get back on schedule and back to normal build-up mileage next week.

Wow...17...That's good milage. I've been putting in some miles but don't feel like I could run 17 at a decent pace right now. 17 feels like your over the hump in a marathon, 13 just feels like you're getting started (to me anyway). Great run...again!

56 in 4 days is amazing. Hope you had a good vacation, sounds like you have done the rounds.

I agree with flat--pretty good mileage if you ask me! Enjoy your well-deserved day off. Sounds like you are getting used to swim-running.

I guess you get use to running in that heat. Wow! Nice week of running. You are a stud!

IJR - thanks, hoping these longer runs will be worth something later on...

Flat - yep, no family visits for awhile now...ahhh

April - yeah, I miss my nice dry heat in Abilene

Thanks Rye, used to it, but still hate it!
