70F, 92%, SSE 12 mph.  Pretty good run today.  I meant to keep it easy, but by mile 11 my pace had almost progressed to GMP, so I made the decision to finish up with the last 6 at goal pace (6:51, 6:52, 6:58, 6:46, 6:54, 6:47).  This definitely does not yet feel like marathon pace but it was probably too warm to really assess that yet (and I was running a little under GMP anyway).  Hopefully, when/if it cools off again it will feel more sustainable.

7:24/mile overall.

That's awesome! It's great to let the body take over and have it respond well.

Your overall pace is great and those last 6 on the back end are fantastic! You have plenty of time to make it marathon pace by January! PFitz has your back.

I'm amazed at the ease you're running 6 minute miles now. I can't wait to see you bust your 3:15 marathon by 15 minutes...not just 10! BTW...Have you signed up for Houston already?

Joe ... Wow! You are really running strong! Trust what April said, Pfitz has your back ... and when the cooler temps arrive, those paces will be right in your wheelhouse as marathon pace! Keep up the great work ... wish I was going to be in Houston so I could TRY to chase you! :)

Thanks everyone.

IJR - yeah, signed up for Houston months ago (it filled up super fast).

I started a list of all the possible races yesterday. It's kinda hard to decide. In one respect I want to run the races I ran last year to see if I can improve but on the other hand I want to run new races just for the experience.
