63F, N 19-29 mph.  7:56 AP.  Cold front arriving!  I don't think the coolest air will hang around for the race, but we'll probably see mid 60s for the start -- not ideal but not bad at all.

Knee is probably fine; I'm still doing 2400 mg/day of Vitamin I, but will probably start weaning myself off soon.  Not completely out of the woods with this one, but close...

** PM - I won't be able to run tomorrow morning so I decided to bite the bullet and will take a day off tomorrow.  However, in order to live with this decision I needed to get in a few miles after the kids went to bed, and while Danielle was watching.....Grey's Anatomy....  Threw in 2 x 1 minute at 10K pace since I hadn't really gotten the legs moving all week.  4.31 miles @ 7:57 AP for the PM run.

Wise to back off at the first sign of something rather than try to push through (like I have so many times) and suffer the consequences.

Yikes....I hope all is well with the knee! It doesn't seem to be hurting your speed!

What is up with your wind. That looks brutal. Good luck Saturday, you'll do fantastic.

Nice work Joe- I was using plenty of that after my doc visit before, so good idea to ease up. Looking forward to your report.

mid 60s is good enough conditions for a PR as long as your buddy south wind stays out of the picture. Good luck. Get that sub-40.
