Blessed to be LDS. Married to world's greatest guy for over 16 yrs w/ 2 amazing kids. Busy being a mom to 2 active teens (a very equestrian minded daughter & a soccer obsessed son). Mental Health Counselor by training.  Loving Life at the Beach. Running to eat & fit in my jeans.

I will keep counting this as 3 miles of cross training. I'm going to a

60 min. class about 2x a week that includes at least 30 min cardio

along with weights & stretching. Trying to mix it up, keep my body

guessing and lose some weight!

Ran right after the rain and all the animals were out! Red birds

(robins? cardinals?), turtle, deer and snake all on my path!! It was

hard to get started, but half way through I felt great. Mile 3 was my

best mile with 8:30 pace (8:50 av. for run). Perhaps a BIT of my base is coming back :)

Toning/Stretching class.  Was supposed to be a class with cardio too, but had a sub instructor who did something different.  Good class, but since no cardio don't think I can get away with logging 3 cross training miles.

My hubby accompanied me today to the lake. He's new to running and did a lot of running, but I forced myself to run ahead then come back & get him. It was a nice quiet run, some trees are starting to change color along the trail. It started to rain for the last 2 miles, LOVE running in the rain (as long as there's no lightning :)
